CORE Coping’s Nurture Path

What is Nurture Path?

Nurture Path is supportive therapy for pregnant women. Any mother who is navigating the emotional, mental, and physical transitions of pregnancy, childbirth, and early motherhood. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just want a space to prepare and process, Nurture Path is here for you. 

Who It's For?

First-time moms and experienced parents alike

Pregnant individuals with anxiety, depression, or past trauma

Those navigating fears about birth or parenting

Anyone needing extra support through early postpartum or adjusting to life with a newborn

Individuals at risk for or experiencing postpartum depression

What’s Included?

  • Individual Therapy with a perinatal-specialized therapist
  • Guidance and support for:
    • Emotional health during pregnancy
    • Stress and coping tools
    • Identity and relationship changes
    • Nutrition, rest, and mental wellness
    • Preparing emotionally for birth
    • Grieving expectations or managing birth-related trauma
    • Navigating early postpartum mental health

Structure & Flexibility

  • Open-ended individual therapy: You stay as long as you need support
  • Virtual or in-person sessions (based on therapist availability)

Insurance & Payment

  • In-network with BCBS, Aetna, and United Healthcare Commercial Plans
  • Private pay options also available

Melissa Epstein, LICSW, is the lead therapist for Nurture Path. As a licensed clinical social worker and mother of two, Melissa offers professional insight with deep personal understanding.
