Welcome! My name is Sarah Durrell, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have a master’s degree in social work from Rhode Island College and currently work as a school social worker. In my work as a therapist, I see teens and adults of all ages and genders, and I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all clients, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. If you are seeking to better your life or improve your mental and emotional well-being, you have come to the right place.
I view seeking therapy as a brave act of self-care. It takes courage to face life’s challenges, to lean into vulnerability, and to confront the parts of your story that may feel easier to avoid. I’m here to walk alongside you in that process. My role is to offer empathy, reflection, practical support and clinical insight as we navigate your unique lived experiences, help you make sense of your story and move toward your personal goals. My approach is practical, strengths-based, compassionate and collaborative, helping you navigate obstacles in a solutions-focused way while holding space for the full range of your emotions.
